The Slytherin Common Room
You’re spending a late night near the large underwater windows of the Slytherin common room. You’ve just made yourself comfortable in a leather armchair near a table large enough to hold the amount of school work you have to do. The Slytherin Common room, in the dungeons of Hogwarts, and under the Black Lake, is quiet. Except, of course, for it’s normal sounds of other sleepless students reading, the burble of the lake, the crackling of a grandiose fireplace, and the gentle ticking of the grandfather clock, reminding you of every second you spend awake. You know you have a long night ahead of you, but here, it is peaceful. You pull out your parchment, your quill and your books, and get to work.
